When I met Jetta Bernier, the Executive Director of MassKids, she had just launched the Shaken Baby Syndrome public education campaign. She needed an eye-catching, accessible flier to educate new parents and caregivers on effective ways to calm a crying baby, thus helping prevent SBS. We collaborated and Jetta distributed them—first locally and then across the country, including a Spanish version, and a movement was born that still thrives today.
